So my book has found its publisher! Hurray! I've met with the publishers, but no contract has been signed so I'll wait until that happens before sharing the details. I will say I feel really good about the dog-friendly vibe of the people I'll be working with. They also really seemed to "get" what I want to convey. I'm thrilled. As soon as I get all of the details settled I can look toward the teacher training program. I know I keep talking about the elusive teacher training program, it's gonna happen, I promise! Just want to make sure I can give my all and make it the best experience for future Barking Buddha teachers before I commit to a date.

Dog Park Wisdom

Lisa Wogan's new book Dog Park Wisdom has just been released! That's her in the picture above with her dog Lulu. My husband Brad is in the background with Honey doing something interesting with his hands. A karate chop? Sign language? We may never know.
Anyway, Lisa's book release party is at The Downtown Dog Lounge on Capital Hill May 2, 7-9. I will be doing dog massage for the first hour. Come on down if you are in the area!

Happy Birthday Gus!!!

Gus is 6 years old today! And even though he has looked like a little old man from birth, my friends and I still call him "Baby Gus" and will continue to do so until he is an actual little old dog man in 6 more years.
